Take Me Home:  The Music of John Denver

The songs are timeless.   The resemblance is remarkable.  The message, still relevant.  With multi-platinum hits like "Rocky Mountain High," "Annie's Song" and "Calypso," John Denver captured a worldwide audience through his songs of care and concern.  Today, his music comes to life through this ultimate tribute by Jim Curry and his band.  His is the first and only full-length John Denver tribute in Las Vegas, and his shows throughout North America and on the Holland America Cruise Line are testament to John Denver's lasting appeal.

     Peacherine Ragtime Orchestra

The Peacherine Ragtime Orchestra, composed largely of students from the University of Maryland in College Park, is America's Premier Ragtime Orchestra, recreating the sounds found before the era of talking films and jazz music.  Founded in 2010, the orchestra is one of the few ensembles today which uses the original scores and antique instruments to play America's music: Ragtime.  The orchestra plays theatre, dance and concert selections using their over 1,300 piece collection of  orchestral arrangements from that era.

          Ballet Theatre of Maryland

Ballet Theatre of Maryland (BTM) is Maryland's premier professional ballet company.  BTM features classic American dance ideals--freedom, energy, athleticism, emotion--and portrays values and themes from American (and sometimes specifically Maryland) literature and culture.  The company, under artistic director Dianna Cuatto, includes twelve professional dancers and 15 to 18 apprentice dancers.

                     The Four Aces

Sixty years ago, a quartet called The Four Aces began making hit records, and they didn't stop until they reached No. 1 with "Three Coins in a Fountain" and "Love is a Many Splendored Thing."  Other Top 10 hits include "Sin," Stranger in Paradise" and "Tell Me Why.:   These accomplished showmen connect today's audiences with a never-to-be-forgotten era of American music.
